My Little grandchildren use the number of "sleeps" to calculate an expected event so in that light I have one more. My long expected departure date for Tanznaia is tomorrow and one more night with my wonderful down pillows won't last long enough. While my excitement is high I must admit the jitters are getting up there too. This will undoubtedly be a time of personal spiritual growth as I will have to dig deep in my bucket of faith knowing that HE is faithful. I do not believe God would have put this desire in my heart if He wasn't going to equip me to fulfill it . . . but it requires trust on my part.
The faces of the children and my intent to "be present in the moment" will take me to the top and the goal of reaching $50,000 to build the school. In a most unlikely place in the Scriptures He gave me my verse for the climb. It is found in Habakkuk 3:19 and says, "The Sovereign Lord is my strength! He makes me as sure footed as a deer, able to tread upon the heights". Remember to check ou the LIVE Kili camera each day of the climb (13th-23rd). www.kilicam.com Remember there is an 8 hour time difference. The Camera refreshes every 5 minutes. I love you all and will be home on the 24Th!!!!
Blessings,
Bette (and mom)
