Thank you for partnering with us in planting eternal seeds in the hearts of the children of Tanzania.  New Life Foundation (NLF) has adopted widely recognized sponsorship procedures and guidelines used by other not-for-profit organizations.  Enclosed are the sponsorship procedures and guidelines for anyone willing to sponsor a child at NLF.  Through student sponsorship, you will be assisting our school as we follow God's command when He said, "Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it" (Proverbs 22:6).

Your sponsorship goes further than just helping children with basic needs of room, board and medical care.  It gives the children an education and equips them with life skills so that they can help themselves, their families and their community.  As a result of the quality of Christian-based academic education the children receive, their employment opportunities are greatly enhanced.  Many of them will go on to become educators, medical specialists, or be involved in ministries that will help others.  With sponsorship, these students may never receive and education at all, nor would they be able to learn essential practical life skills that they can take back to their villages and make a difference.  Students experience this education with the word of God who so desperately loves them and has great plans for them.  We are grateful for your support, and we are privileged to be working with you in advancing God's Kingdom.

WHY IS THIS PROGRAM UNIQUE?

This program is unique because it goes beyond simply meeting the practical needs of the children.  It also provides spiritual growth through a Christian education, a chance to know the Living God, the basis to develop a Biblical worldview, and the life skills necessary to be successful in life, to help others, and to better serve their continent.

Unlike other sponsorship programs, all programs at New Life Foundation are boarding facilities.  This means that students live at NLF, all day, every day.  Not only are the children educated, they are housed, clothed, fed four meals a day, and given the necessary school uniforms.  As more than 70% of students at NLF are orphans or have substandard health, we contribute to their well being by providing for their medical needs and by providing food supplements for them daily.

You’re not alone as a sponsor. Whenever possible, parents of the students are asked to help toward the cost of their child’s education.  Although a few parents are able to contribute towards their child’s school fees, often they are often still unable to afford basic necessities, let alone additional educational expenses. These parents contribute crops and labor to assist the school.

Sponsorship is a wonderful way for you to develop a long lasting relationship with a child you have supported.  It can be particularly satisfying knowing that you are making a difference on the other side of the world to a needy child you have never met.  Your support is a magnificent testimony to the love of Christ in the child’s life.  A number of students do not come from Christian homes, and sponsorship is a great witness to them and their families.
